Coleen Rooney was back in hospital last night to visit her adopted sister Rosie, who was rushed into intensive care yesterday, UK tabloid The Sun reported today.

Rosie, 12, was adopted by Rooney’s parents at the age of two, but later diagnosed with a brain disorder known as Rett Syndrome. She fell into a coma in September, but pulled through and has since been in good health, according to The Sun.

Coleen is keeping vigil by her sister’s side at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool. Rosie is suspected to have suffered a fit, but is not well enough for tests to be carried out. The tabloid said the 24-year-old has been crying non-stop.

Coleen and husband Wayne were seen on Monday with her parents pushing Rosie in a wheelchair. The previous day they had all celebrated Coleen’s son Kai’s first birthday.

The party on Sunday was a £90,000 Disney-themed event, according to the Mirror, and did not finish until 1 a.m. Neighbours complained about the noisy music and two have lodged complaints with the Cheshire East Council.

“Of course they’re sorry if anyone was disturbed, although they are surprised as there were only about 30 guests present at the time of the complaint,” a spokesperson for the Rooneys told the Mirror.
