The U.S. Coast Guard has finished cleaning up leaking fuel lines near the Jack London Square Marina in Oakland, a spokeswoman said.

The leak was discovered at about 5:30 p.m. Sep. 9 at the marina, off Embarcadero West at Webster Street, according to Coast Guard Lt. Athena Stricker.

The fuel lines have been secured and the fuel has been removed, Stricker said.

The Coast Guard hasn’t disclosed what caused the leak or how much fuel was spilled into the Oakland Estuary.
