CM Punk took to Twitter to comment on the death of Robin Williams.

“One of the sweetest guys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting,” he said.

“Rest in power Robin Williams.”

Williams died on Monday from hanging himself. The star actor and comedian is being remembered for his many movie and television roles as well as his great personality in real-life.

Punk also retweeted a video where Williams won Best Supporting actor at the 1998 Oscars for Good Will Hunting, and a tweet from Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin that quoted Williams: “No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.”

Punk also directed his over 2.2 million followers to go to read tweets from Norm MacDonald, a Canadian comedian who recounted a story where he met Williams years ago while at the David Letterman show.

“Everyone go read the tweets @normmacdonald just tweeted,” he said. “Amazing.”

Punk, meanwhile, appears to be set in retirement.

However, he will still be a playable character in WWE 2K15, with a rivalry with John Cena.
