Cierra Mickens of Alaska took to “The Voice” on NBC on Monday night, working to perform well enough to be chosen by at least one of the judges.

Mickens, 23, studied political science and criminal justice but is working with her father to help military families adjust to living in Alaska.

She sang “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley.

Three of the judges--Blake Shelton, Usher, and Shakira--turned around.

Mickens ended up choosing Shakira.
