Fans are not receptive to Chrissy Teigen enjoying a dinner date with husband, John Legend—sans baby Luna Simone.

The married couple went for dinner at West Hollywood’s hotspot The Nice Guy on April 23 and were criticized for enjoying alone time just ten days postpartum.

Baby Luna Simone was born on April 14, and according to comments on social media networks, the new mom should be at home with her newborn.

“That spotlight pull be strong,” wrote thepowerchica. “One week. Who wants to leave a one week old baby to go to a bar?”

Another commenter, Bronzebeauty79, said: “She’s hitting the streets already???? Damn these so called celebrities want to show off so bad after giving birth. Spend bonding time with your baby and not let the nanny or babysitter raise them!”

Commenter _saturdayfit_ wrote, “I don’t think I let anyone watch my child without me til a month or two. I just wanted to hold and stare and my children when they were born.”

Teigen responded to the backlash via her Twitter page the following day, stating: “I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!”

Teigen lashed out at people’s comments over her leaving baby Luna for the evening.

The model also sarcastically responded to the whereabouts of their daughter.

Not all fans were in disagreement with the cookbook author—one was interested in what the model had for dinner.
