Chris Brown has entered rehab after the recent fight he got into in Washington, D.C. over the weekend.
“Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility,” a rep for the singer said in a statement. “His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”
E! News obtained the statement.
Brown pleaded not guilty to punching a man near the W Hotel in the early morning on Sunday.
Brown has been charged with a misdemeanor simple assault and is slated to appear back in court on November 25.
