Chinese Students Stranded in Italy Due to CCP Virus Testing Rules

Chinese international students in Europe have recently been informed by Beijing that those who take a charter flight back to China must take a nucleic acid test within 120 hours before departure. The new rule, which went into effect on June 23, makes it difficult for students to return home.

Mr. Zhang is a Chinese citizen who studied in Italy. He decided to stay in the country when he was offered a job after graduation. “The Chinese government’s policy is too rigid,” he told The Epoch Times on Jun. 26. “It doesn’t treat us as human beings at all. To be honest, our right as a Chinese citizen has been violated. Moreover, it’s being violated over and over again. That in itself is unconstitutional.”
