To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the year of boar, streets and department stores throughout major cities all over the world have displays and decorations with the theme of boar. Shops are full of red ‘lucky envelopes,’ lanterns, and hanging firecracker ornaments. One can smell Chinese New Year among the shopping crowds.
