The United States reiterated its support for Taiwan’s broadening its participation in the United Nations system and other international forums, following another round of discussions in Taipei.

“Taiwan’s world-class expertise offers considerable added value in addressing today’s most urgent challenges, including in international public health, food security, aviation safety, and climate change,” a June 22 State Department statement reads.
