News has just come out that Liu Yazhou, a retired Chinese Communist Party (CCP) general who was already under detention and investigation, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the CCP’s military court. Mr. Liu was one of the CCP princelings in the military and initially supported Xi Jinping when he rose to power and took the throne.
