Hong Kong Leader Suspends Extradition Bill, Opponents Want Full Withdrawal

Hong Kong chief executive Carrie Lam has suspended the proposed extradition law indefinitely.

In a press conference on June 15, Lam told reporters that the decision was made with consideration of the public sentiment against the bill.
