Shanghai was one of the hardest-hit cities during the explosive COVID-19 outbreak from December 2022 to the spring of 2023. Then, another wave of contagious disease raged across China, which began in October and peaked in November. At that time, videos leaked from Shanghai showed that local hospitals were jam-packed with patients.

Since December 2022, various official sources in China have reported many deaths of experts, senior CCP officials, corporate executives, and young and middle-aged police officers, some of whom have been praised as “outstanding Party members.” However, the CCP has been covering up the cause of their deaths.
