Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) models are actively driving Beijing’s “unrestricted warfare” in the form of a cognitive campaign designed to systematically dismantle Taiwan’s social stability and democracy, with the ultimate goal of imposing a new global order, analysts warn.

Several AI language models originating in China possess significant security flaws as well as severe bias, according to a report from Taiwan’s National Security Bureau (NSB) on Nov. 16.
