China’s communist regime is attempting to broker a new era of cooperation between rival Palestinian factions as hostage negotiations with Hamas sputter. This comes as the regime is attempting to bolster its influence in the Middle East at the expense of the United States.

Fatah and the Hamas terrorist group have expressed a willingness to seek reconciliation through dialogue at unity talks in Beijing, China’s foreign ministry said on April 30.
