China Continues to Fall Short in Protecting Intellectual Property, US Says

The United States on April 27 called out the Chinese regime for its continued failure to deliver on its commitment to protect intellectual property (IP).

“China needs to complete the full range of fundamental changes that are required to improve the IP landscape in China. In particular, China needs to address weak enforcement channels and a lack of transparency and Judicial independence,” stated an annual report (pdf) by The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR).
