CCP Mouthpiece Media Play Up Xi’s Achievements Before Party Conclave

Just days before the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) sixth plenary session, the party’s mouthpiece media published a series of articles spotlighting Xi Jinping’s “achievements.” International observers point out that what Xi has done could be categorized as regressive.

The articles praised Xi for his “foresight,” being “wise and decisive,” and “a series of strategies and major decisions that the leader has done in the new era he pioneered.”
