The School of Economics and Management of the University of Hong Kong website shows that Jack Ma is an “honorary professor” of the college.

The introduction mentions that Jack Ma graduated from Hangzhou Normal University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in English literature. Ma has been awarded honorary doctorates by many universities around the world, including an honorary doctorate in social sciences from the University of Hong Kong in 2018.

The founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, has been invited to serve at the University of Hong Kong as an honorary professor beginning April 1, 2023.

According to the South China Morning Post, Jack Ma’s position with the University of Hong Kong will last three years .

South China Morning Post quoted insiders who said, “Jack Ma will focus on research in finance, agriculture, and innovation entrepreneurship with the teaching staff at the university. There is no public lecture or speech arrangement.

When Jack Ma Foundation responded to mainland Chinese media inquiries, the foundation also confirmed that Ma received an invitation from the University of Hong Kong in March 2023.
