A 3-year-old child has fallen from a roller coaster at a water park near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Thursday afternoon.

The boy was hospitalized with unknown injuries, official said. The incident took place at the Idlewild & Soak Zone in Ligonier, located east of Pittsburgh, a fire official told NBC News.

It’s unclear how the child fell off the roller coaster. There were no other injuries.

The Pennsylvania Amusement Ride Safety Division shut down the roller coaster. Meanwhile, an investigation has been opened, supervisor Joseph Filoromo told NBC.

The park’s website lists two roller coasters, a classic wooden-style one and a steeper one at treetop level. It’s not clear which one the child fell from.
