Seven people were killed and another 47 people were wounded, including an 8-year-old girl, in shootings across Chicago between Friday evening and Sunday evening, Chicago Police said.

The latest homicides took place on Sunday afternoon—within 20 minutes of each other. At 4:30 p.m. in Gage Park, an armed assailant walked up to a 35-year-old man in the hallway of a house and shot the victim in the left leg. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was later pronounced dead. Police said that witnesses were uncooperative in the investigation, NBC Chicago reported, adding that no suspect was arrested.

At 4:12 p.m., two individuals walked up to an elderly man in West Garfield Park and opened fire, hitting him in the abdomen and chest. Police said he died at Stroger Hospital, NBC reported. Other details were not released.

A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed in the West Side Austin neighborhood after a vehicle pulled up to him and someone inside shot him. The incident took place at around 5 a.m. on Sunday, according to NBC.

Hours earlier, in Chicago’s Southwest Side in Marquette Park, a 25-year-old was involved in an argument with another male at a house party, police said. Gunshots were then heard, and the 25-year-old man was found shot in the head on the front lawn of the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene, CBS Local reported.

Two hours earlier, also on Sunday morning, in the West Grenshaw neighborhood, a 21-year-old man was found shot on the front porch of his home. He was shot at a different location before he walked to his home, telling his family what took place. When officials arrived, he was rushed to Mount Sinai hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

On Sunday night, a shooting left an 8-year-old girl and a 36-year-old woman wounded. The girl was shot in the arm and the woman was shot in the hand. Someone drove the two to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where their conditions stabilized, NBC reported.

The latest nonfatal shootings took place within five minutes of each other on Sunday night. A 21-year-old man was shot Sunday in the Ravenswood neighborhood at 9:15 p.m., police said. A 23-year-old man was critically wounded after being shot at around 9:10 p.m. in Austin.
