‘Chewbacca Mom’ Candace Payne continues to ride the wave of instant fame.

This time Payne rode along with James Corden on the May 23 broadcast of the “The Late Late Show With James Corden”—sporting the mask that made her a viral sensation.

Serving as chauffeur to Corden, Payne cannot contain herself bursting into fits of laughter to the annoyance of Corden.

“I have got to get to work, is there any way we can leave now,” inquires Corden.

“I’m such a happy Chewbacca!” Payne exclaims as she bursts into a fit of laughter yet again.

“I know you’re a happy Chewbacca,” replies an annoyed Corden. “You know that doesn’t sound anything like Chewbacca, right?”

“I gotta disagree,” interjects “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” director, J.J. Abrams, who makes a surprise appearance from the back seat. “It’s an excellent Chewbacca.”

Abrams does offer the stay-at-home mom advice on how to truly exhibit the character of Chewbacca. He puts on the mask and the pair have a sound-off with the mask and a reluctant Corden joins in on the fun.

When back in the studio, Corden also reads a note from real-life Chewbacca, Peter Mayhew, to Payne.

“Candace, you are inspiration. You’re attitude and lovely message really resonates and with your spreading the good word of ‘Star Wars’ with a heart—well, its so much of why we do what we do,” reads Corden on behalf of Mayhew.

But that isn’t all Mayhew had in store for Payne and her family.

She was gifted four VIP passes to Dallas Fan Expo and a private meet-and-greet session with the actor.

Candace Payne was thrust into fame when she uploaded a Facebook video of herself laughing hysterically in a Kohl’s parking lot while wearing a the now famous Chewbacca mask. The video earned her the honor as the most-viewed Facebook Live video ever. While she basks in fame, Payne is happy to see the impact her video is having on viewers.

“I had one lady message me and tell me that she has an autistic daughter that hadn’t laughed in two months and she said every time she showed her that video she laughed and laughed,” Payne told GMA. “And from one momma heart to another momma, to see a child laugh that you hadn’t seen laugh, those are the stories I’m going to take with me.”
