Chevrolet Cruze Recall: GM Recalling 293,000 Models Over Brakes

General Motors will recall 292,879 Chevrolet Cruze models, according to a report on Friday.

Reuters, which broke the story on its Twitter, said that the models are being recalled due to a defect in the cars’ brake defect system.

Last year, more than 400,000 Chevrolet Cruze models were recalled to fix a problem that could cause engine fires.

The Cruze is a subcompact sedan.
