Charlotte Dawson, a New Zealand native and television host, was found dead in her home in Sydney, Australia on Saturday.

The 47-year-old was found dead by a security guard at her Woolloomooloo home, reported the Daily Telegraph.

Dawson had reportedly been battling depression.

The death is believed to have been a suicide.

She was cyber bullied beginning in 2012 and was the subject of death threats after appearing on Nine Network’s A Current Affair and Ten Network’s The Project to expose the threats that were being made against her.

Dawson had recently commented on the downfall of former Olympian Scott Miller, to whom she was married to for years.

“Hoping scott miller a man I loved very much can recover & become a great dad to jack. So sad,” she said after Miller’s tell all interview aired on 60 minutes.

Jack, two, is a son of Miller’s from another relationship.
