Cedric Lee has tried to clarify a number of issues through his lawyer, including his past relationship with Vina Morales.

Lee said through Howard Calleja, who spoke to ABS-CBN, first addressed the issue of David Bunevacz, who he is accused of beating up. They were former partners in a cosmetics clinic.

Bunevacz’s wife said that they were subsequently threatened by Lee’s group.

Calleja also seemingly addressed rumors about Lee physically abusing Morales while they were together.

Morales recently denied any abuse happened.

Javier, meanwhile, recently said that she made a mistake falling in love with Lee in 2005, because he was married at the time.

Calleja also addressed Lee’s links to officials from the Philippine National Police.

“There is nothing wrong with having generals in your corporation,” the lawyer said. “They are very respected people.”

Among Lee’s potentially sketchy business dealings, he was accused by Iloilo Mayor Mariano Malones of bribing him to approve the construction of a huge convention center in the province.

Lee is slated to appear in court again on February 28 as the third hearing of the Vhong Navarro-Deniece Cornejo case takes place.
