Cebu Doctors University Hospital–known as the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital–in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines was evacuated after a strong, 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit the country on Tuesday morning.
Photos uploaded to Twitter and Instagram showed damage done to the facility. Windows were broken and there also appeared to be structural damage.
Dr. Christine Fernandez wrote on Instagram: “Situation in Cebu Doctors Hospital! A doctor carrying a New born baby!”
Her video showed people gathering around outside the facility. Over 50 patients were moved outside the building, reported the Cebu Sun-Star.
Authorities have updates the country-wide death toll to 93.
A series of aftershocks followed the initial earthquake.
