When decorating a room, it’s important to create a sense of balance. How do you create balance? Repetition!

Repetition is important because it gives purpose to everything in the room. Whether it’s a color, or a type of accessory, having multiples of something in a room makes it clear that the design was intentional. One great way to create balance in a room is by choosing an accent color and repeating it. In this bedroom, we chose a pretty chartreuse hue and incorporated it into the wall art, the pillows, as well as an accent vase. By doing this, we established the color as a main element in the room, and created a sense of balance.

We especially love how the color looks against the neutral tones throughout the rest of the room. This is a great way to experiment with bold colors without it being overwhelming.
