We think the kitchen is one of the most important rooms in the home - not only is it utilized several times a day, but it’s often a family-oriented space where family and friends gather to cook and share meals. Because of this, we think it’s important to pay extra attention to the kitchen when decorating your home!

Having a beautiful kitchen has almost nothing to do with pricey, top-of-the-line appliances. If your kitchen needs a boost, a bright, lively paint color might be just the ticket.

This combo of bright, sunny yellow and mint green is perfect for summer! Definitely do not be afraid to mix and match bold colors.

Great options to imitate this look are Sunny at Heart and April Love from Mythic Paint!

Another great option is to paint your cabinets. This is perfect for camouflaging cabinets that are older, and it really refreshes the entire room.

Try Mythic’s Chinese Chartreuse hue to mimic this look.

For those who want to go bold but not necessarily bright, navy is an excellent color to choose! It’s subtle yet unexpected, and is especially striking when paired with bright white, like in this kitchen:

Blue Beard from Mythic is a good choice!
