An article saying Casey Anthony, who was acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee in 2011, is pregnant with twins is fake.

The bogus report was posted on National Report, a self-described “satirical” website.

The article reads: “Previous reports on Anthony’s lifestyle in the three years since she was released from prison have described her as being withdrawn, and living like a hermit. Anthony filed for bankruptcy in 2013, claiming to be unemployed and possessing no source of income. She met with agents and publishers in New York last year, hoping to cash in on her notoriety by writing a book but was unable to close a deal. Casey currently appears to live off of a few benefactors who reportedly pay for all of her living expenses. But the days of needing to live off of others may soon be coming to a close for Anthony.”

It then uses fake quotes from an agent, saying she’s going to take part in a reality TV show about her life.

The National Report is satire, but it removed its disclaimer.

The disclaimer used to say: “*DISCLAIMER: National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within National Report are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental . The views expressed by writers on this site are theirs alone and are not reflective of the fine journalistic and editorial integrity of National Report. Advice given is NOT to be construed as professional.” It was saved by a hoax-debunking website.

It’s also worth noting that no local or national media have reported on Anthony having twins.

The bogus article had several thousand “likes” and shares, and a number of people apparently thought it was real.

One person said in the comments section, “ALL of America will have eyes on her and watch her every step, Nothing c an happen to the twins.”

Added another: “Wow! This makes me sick! For 1 yes she either did it or had a hand in it or she wouldn’t have been out getting waisted while her child was ’missing' ugh! An 2 whoever watches this freak show is just as whack!”
