James Rebhorn, who played the father of Carrie Mathison on the hit show “Homeland,” died at age 65 on Friday, his agent said on Sunday. He died following a long battle with skin cancer.
Dianne Busch confirmed that Rebhorn passed away at his home.
Rebhorn was a notable character actor who also had a recent recurring role on White Collar as Special Agent Reese Hughes. He acted for over 50 years.
Other roles included the district attorney who sent Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer to jail on the Seinfield series finale.
