A car crashed into the glass entrance of the lobby at Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, New York State late Tuesday, according to videos shared to social media from the scene.
Tony Aiello, a reporter with CBS New York shared on Twitter, alongside footage from the scene, what happened right after the crash, which took place around 9 p.m. local time.
“Workers at Trump Plaza New Rochelle say after car plowed into lobby, [male] driver got out and took a seat on a sofa. Said nothing. Several injuries but none are life threatening,” Aiello tweeted.

Multiple videos shared on Aiello’s Twitter page late Tuesday showed a damaged black Mercedes-Benz C300 coupe, with its hood and trunk open, inside the lobby of Trump Plaza on Huguenot Street. The glass doors at the entrance were smashed through, while the structure on either side of the glass entrance appeared intact.
Police officers and personnel from the fire department were present.
One video posted by Aiello, which showed the damaged car still sitting inside the lobby, one man near the camera can be heard saying: “That’s one way to make an entrance. You guys couldn’t show him where the garage was?”
Police say the crash does not appear to be intentional and no evidence suggests otherwise, but the investigation is ongoing, ABC New York reported. At least two pedestrians were injured in the lobby but no one was seriously hurt, according to the report. The driver was also injured.
“We would like to thank the first responders for their swift attention to this evening’s incident,” a spokesperson for the Trump Organization said in an emailed statement to ABC News. “We are truly grateful to them for their service.”

Aiello tweeted around 10 p.m. local time: “Cleanup underway at Trump Plaza New Rochelle. Police investigating why man drove car into lobby. Believed to be accidental but still under investigation. Residents coming and going, returning home from dinner, walking their dogs.”
In a later tweet about half an hour later, Aiello shared footage of the car being removed from the scene.
“Damaged car being removed from Trump Plaza New Rochelle. Totaled, obviously,” he wrote.
Trump Plaza New Rochelle, a 40-story luxury residential building in downtown New Rochelle, opened in 2007 and was built by Cappelli Enterprises. The building is owned by Donald Trump.
