Former baseball slugger Jose Canseco tweeted that he was charged with rape.
“Breaking news this is a first folks las vegas police was just at my house i have been charged with rape,” part of a tweet reads.
A police source told TMZ that Canseco, 48, was named as a suspect in a police report filed with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
A person who filed the report said the incident took place in May 10.
Canseco tweeted several items related to the rape allegations but those were later taken down.
“Who wants to spend a day with jose. Come into my world if u can handle it,” Canseco tweeted in the afternoon.
