MADISON—Software engineer Michael Turek thinks this presidential race came as close as it was because the left bullied the right into silence, but with the wave of fraud allegations in several states there is no confidence in the current results.

“We came down here to support the Stop the Steal movement with this really what appears to be quite a fraudulent election,” he said at the rally in Madison, Wisconsin on Nov. 7, 2020.

We want to know and feel like it was transparent and feel like it’s democracy upheld. I think Trump supporters will be disappointed if Biden won but if it was fair and square and we can feel that way in the end then we can accept it and that’s okay,” said Turek, who had been volunteering for the re-election campaign for President Donald Trump, Winona County in Minnesota. He explained why he supports Trump.

“Democrats used to be the anti-war party, they used to be the party of the workers, and now they think that’s Republicans,” Turek said. “I’m a young man, Trump is the only president that I’ve ever seen that has not gotten us involved in a new war, in fact he’s trying to bring the troops home. Biden voted for the Iraq War, he was vice president when we did this illegal regime change in Libya, involved in putting troops into Syria.”

Turek hopes to see the Supreme Court weigh in on the election.

“What I would like to see is confidence in this election, I would like to see some transparency so we all feel good that this election was conducted fairly and that our democracy is functioning, our democratic republic is functioning,” Turek said. “I would like to see the court weigh in to give us some of that insurance whether this election was conducted accurately or whether it was fraudulent. I would like the Supreme Court to weigh in on that.”

He says it’s a time to believe in America, and for Americans to speak up about the truth.

“Trust yourself and trust citizen journalism. Go out there and find the truth and believe in yourself and believe in us as we’re in this fight, believe in America,” he said.

“This is really a time of trial and it’s really important for us to come together and stand up for what we know to be true,” Turek said. The bullying and censoring of average Americans and their views has been an obstacle, he added.

“I think this election was as close as it was because the left was able to scare the right into being silent, whether it was through censorship or rioting, destroying people’s cars that had a Trump bumper sticker on, being called a bigot, a racist just because you support Trump. That scared the right into being silent and that’s why this election is as close as it is, because we were scared and I think it’s time to be done with that,” he said.

“It’s time to really speak up for truth, it’s time to really tell people on the left who are doing this bullying, this censorship, this name-calling, and let them know this is unacceptable, this is not appropriate to be bullying and censoring people just because they think differently than you,” Turek said.
