At least six businesses in West Los Angeles in the neighborhoods of Marina Del Rey, Venice, and Del Rey were robbed during the early morning Feb. 27, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

According to officials, three suspects are now in custody.

Police said they received a call at 1:20 a.m. reporting a broken window at Ulta Beauty on Maxella Avenue, adjacent to the Villa Marina Marketplace in Marina Del Rey.

While investigating at that location, police learned several other businesses nearby were also burglarized, according to media reports. A spokesperson for the police department told The Epoch Times multiple businesses were also burglarized between 1:45 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. on the 4200 block of South Lincoln Boulevard.

According to KTLA 5, five of the businesses were at the Marina Center shopping plaza, including Rubio’s Coastal Grill, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, Nick the Greek, Juice Crafters and Starbucks.

Hours later, the Dudley Market, a restaurant in Venice was also broken into, according to the news station.

A nearby resident, who had been sitting on his balcony, told KTLA 5 he saw a man running up the street and breaking into the restaurant. He told the news outlet he ran after the burglar and was able to pin him down until authorities arrived.

Nick the Greek owner told the news station he doesn’t keep much cash on hand, so the suspects didn’t escape with much. For L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, the break in is the second this month, the owner said.

Two suspects arrested were said to be wearing all black clothing with black masks and fled the area on bikes before one was arrested, according to the news station.
