Man Charged in New Year’s Eve Crash That Killed 3 in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES—A 22-year-old man was charged Jan. 8 with murder and other counts stemming from a crash on New Year’s Eve in South Los Angeles that killed three people, including a 5-year-old, and seriously injured the girl’s younger sister.

Isaac Jordan Kahari is charged with three counts each of murder and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, as well as one count each of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury and hit-and-run driving resulting in injury to another person, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
