Three suspects conducted an armed home invasion early Feb. 20 at a Westminster home, holding four people, including two children, at gunpoint, authorities said.

Officers from the Westminster Police Department responded to a call from a female that she was being robbed at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 13400 block of Milan Street, the department said.

“Inside the residence, officers found four victims: an adult male, an adult female, a 7-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old girl,” according to a police statement.

Responding officers observed three suspects—believed to be male, wearing sweatshirts and with hoods over their heads—departing the area in a gray van, police said.

Officers initiated a traffic stop on the van, leading to a pursuit, but they lost sight of the vehicle around Westminster Boulevard and Bolsa Chica Road, police said.

“Officers learned the three suspects, two armed with handguns, forced entry into the residence,” the statement said. “They entered the adult male victim’s bedroom and asked him where he kept the money. The suspects allegedly held the adult male at gunpoint while they ransacked his bedroom and stole several valuable items.”

The suspects left the house with items of undisclosed value, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery was urged to contact Detective J. Figueroa at 714-548-3783. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call 855-TIP-OCCS.
