The wholesale prices of used vehicles marginally increased last month, with midsize cars registering the largest rise among all segments, according to automotive services company Cox Automotive.
The Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index, which measures prices paid by dealerships for used cars, rose by 0.2 percent in November from a year ago, according to the company’s Dec. 6 statement. Wholesale prices had risen by 0.5 percent in the first half of November but pared down gains later in the month.
