US Accuses Hyundai Supplier of Child Labor Violations at Alabama Factory

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has accused a Hyundai Motor parts supplier of violating federal child labor laws at a factory in Alabama, according to multiple reports.

In federal court filings reviewed by Reuters, investigators found that SL Alabama LLC of Alexander City employed underaged workers in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, a six-page complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama reveals.
