Tesla’s sales fell in the fourth quarter of 2025, as the company faces both intensifying global competition and the expiration of tax incentives for domestic electric-vehicle (EV) buyers.
Tesla reported its fourth-quarter figures on Dec. 29, saying it delivered 418,227 vehicles in the final three months of 2025—down 15.6 percent from the year-ago period. For Tesla, which sells directly to consumers, deliveries are seen as a close proxy for sales.
