Stanley Recalls 2.6 Million Travel Mugs Over Burn Risk

Stanley reported receiving 91 incident reports worldwide, including 16 in the United States, of the recalled travel mugs’ lids detaching while in use.

Stanley, a well-known manufacturer of outdoor gear and drinkware, has initiated a massive recall of approximately 2.6 million travel mugs, citing potential safety hazards, according to a Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) notice issued Thursday.

The recall encompasses all Stanley Switchback and Trigger Action stainless steel travel mugs sold in the United States.
