Omnicom Group Inc., a global media, marketing, and communications holding company, announced on Dec. 1 its new strategic plans and executive leadership following the finalization of its acquisition of Interpublic Group of Companies Inc.

However, the $13 billion deal comes with a cost of 4,000 staff reductions and a reshuffling of legacy advertising agencies within its total portfolio.
