Oil prices rose on early Monday trading amid the worsening Iran war situation, trading at around $95 per barrel after dipping below $90 on Friday.
Brent crude oil futures closed Thursday at $99.39 per barrel and then dropped to $86.09 on Friday, before closing the day at $90.38. However, the standoff between the United States and Iran escalated this weekend, alarming oil markets and pushing up prices. Oil was trading at around $94.75 on Monday as of 8 a.m. ET.
