In April this year, a McDonald’s branch apologized for the lack of workers at its establishment. A sign posted via a TikTok video read “We’re short staffed. Please be patient with the staff who did show up. Nobody wants to work anymore ”.

However, now an image has come to light where another branch of the fast food restaurant offers to pay 21 dollars (425 Mexican pesos (MXN) approximately) per hour to those who apply for the job and are hired. Everything seems to indicate that this is the consequence of a crisis due to lack of labor that various industries in the United States (EU) are facing.
