After more than 80 years gracing the breakfast tables of families throughout the nation, Minute Maid frozen juice products will be phased out within the next two months.
Coca-Cola, owner of the well-known product line, said the company is discontinuing all of its frozen products and exiting the frozen can category in response to shifting consumer preferences.
“With the juice category growing strongly, we’re focusing on products that better match what our consumers want,” a Coca-Cola spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email. “Frozen products will be discontinued in Q1 2026, with in-store inventory available while supplies last.”
Minute Maid frozen orange juice has been among the most popular of the company’s frozen beverages. The brand also offered frozen lemonade, pink lemonade, limeade, and raspberry lemonade.
The company’s other juice products will remain on grocery shelves and include refrigerated ready-made orange juice, lemonade, and other fruit-flavored drinks in disposable containers. Its other cold fruit juices, offered in plastic containers, will also remain on the market and include orange, apple, cranberry apple raspberry, cranberry grape, pineapple orange, and peach mango juices.
Consumers will still be able to purchase refrigerated plastic containers of Minute Maid’s zero sugar juice drinks in a variety of flavors, as well as apple juice, mixed berry juice, lemonade, and fruit punch for children in smaller disposable containers.
“This momentum underscores the company’s continued focus on meeting evolving consumer preferences and driving growth across its beverage portfolio,” the report stated.
The report also mentioned continued growth in water, sports drinks, tea, and coffee, which were able to offset declines in trademark Coca-Cola and juice, as well as value-added dairy and plant-based beverages. Concentrate sales were one percentage point behind unit case volume because of the timing of concentrate shipments.
“While the overall environment has continued to be challenging, we’ve stayed flexible—adapting plans where needed and investing for growth,” James Quincey, Coca-Cola chairman and CEO, said in the report.
“By offering choice across our total beverage portfolio and leveraging our franchise model’s unique strengths, we’re gaining ground and strengthening our leadership position.
Overall, Coca-Cola reported net revenues grew by 5 percent, reaching $12.5 billion, and the company’s operating margin was 32 percent. Earnings per share increased 30 percent to $0.86. The company also gained share of value in the total nonalcoholic ready-to-drink beverage market.
The company is expected to release its fourth quarter and full year 2025 report on Feb. 10.

At the same time, the company was renamed Vacuum Foods Corporation. In 1949, the company changed names again, becoming the Minute Maid Corporation.
