Burger King is celebrating summer with a new, seasonal BBQ menu, which notably includes an unconventional bacon sundae.

The world’s second largest hamburger chain is launching several beef, pork, and chicken sandwiches, as well as a sweet and savory treat—a bacon sundae featuring vanilla soft served drizzled with chocolate fudge and caramel, topped with bacon crumbles, and completed with a thick-cut, hardwood smoked bacon garnish.

The creation, according to Burger King, apparently took Nashville, Tenn. “by storm” earlier this year when it was introduced in the region. And now the experiment is going nationwide.

“The new BBQ-inspired menu offers something for everyone, from our loyal WHOPPER Sandwich fans to our more adventurous guests looking to try surprising new favorites,” Burger King Senior Vice President Alex Macedo said in a statement.

The idea of the dessert has received mixed feedback from the public, from Twitter user Jen Agan posting “Okayy I love bacon a lot but a bacon sundae? Really burger king, that’s disgusting” to another user saying “I hate myself because I will indeed buy this” and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan resident David Brown complaining that the dessert is not coming the Canada.

The sweet and salty dessert contains 510 calories, 18 grams of fat, and 61 grams of sugar.

The limited edition menu is the Miami-based company’s latest push to win back customers and reverse sliding market share. Earlier this year, Burger King launched its biggest menu expansion to include fruit smoothies, snack wraps, and new salads.
