Eric Antrim, civil engineer of the Bureau of Land Management, is at the 2012 USA Science & Engineering Festival to show kids interesting scientific careers that they can take.
“If kids can see careers and understand why they are taking math—kids at that age, studying math, they don’t really know why—but if they can see there’s all these cool and interesting careers out there for them, maybe they will stick it out for that algebra class,” he said.
