A fistfight that broke out aboard a Sydney train on Jan. 31 ended–bizarrely–with a hug.
In the video, recorded by Jud Winter and provided by Storyful, an older man approaches a younger man on a city train while hurling insults. As the train leaves the station, the younger man loses his cool and starts swinging.
The two broke into a fight, but mid-brawl, the second man tried to reason with his aggressor. He said he only wanted to go home and had to work the next day.
“You had a crack at me first,” the man said.
When the first man relented, the younger man said: “if you don’t mean it, I don’t mean it.”
The conflict was then resolved with a hug.
