A woman stabbed and wounded three people on a bus in the Brussels area before she was shot and injured by police, local media outlets said on Monday Aug. 22.
According to Belgian media De Morgen the woman had gotten into an argument with two other passengers on the bus. After attacking the two passengers with a knife, the woman fled the bus in the Uccle area of Brussels, and attacked a third person. None of the victims is in serious condition.
A preliminary investigation suggests that the attack was not linked to terrorism. The suspect apparently suffers from a psychological disorder, RTBF reported.

Brussels has been on high alert since local members of the ISIS terror group carried out attacks in Paris and other suicide bombings at a Brussels airport in March.
