Brryan Jackson has forgiven his father, who tried to kill him by injecting him with HIV-tainted blood over 20 years ago.

Jackson told KPLR that doctors feared he was going to die when he got the injection when he was 11 months old.

“Anyone in my condition would die in three months--they gave me five,” he said.

His father wanted to kill Brryan to avoid paying child support.

Brryan, now 22, has side-effects from the injection, including developing AIDS, and losing about 70 percent of his hearing.

But he says he’s forgiven his father, who could be released from prison in a few years.

“I think there is salvation for everyone, and I find myself praying for my father’s salvation,” he said, crediting his Christian faith for his attitude.

Brryan is in college and is contemplating becoming a pastor, getting into politics, or attending medical school.
