A man held up an armored car in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday, stealing more than $500,000, said police.

The New York City Police Department told NBC New York that the driver was delivering at a check cashing store in Rockaway Parkway when a suspect jumped into the car and pointed something--possibly a gun--at the driver’s head, demanding money.

The driver then drove several blocks before the suspect took the money and ran.

Police and the FBI are carrying out an investigation into the matter.

ABC-7 reported that the suspect, who was wearing a mask, did not fire any shots and the driver was not hurt.
