Thousands of protesters angry over the Staten Island grand jury’s decision not to indict a police officer who killed Eric Garner descended on the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan on Thursday night.
According to preliminary reports, the NYPD shut the the bridge down due to the protests.
It’s unclear when it will be reopening again.
