The New York Bronx Zoo is offering couples an opportunity to name a cockroach in honor of that special someone.
Flowers wilt, chocolates melt, but roaches are forever, notes the zoo on its website.
The naming offer doesn’t extend to just any species of the creepy crawler, but a Madagascar hissing roach. It is the largest and loudest of its kind, says the zoo.
The plan is simple. A $10 donation will allow one of the 58,000 of the zoo’s Madagascar hissing roaches to be named after a sweetheart.
